Bravo said:How about just missing the ball entirely? I was playing in our traveling group about ten years ago and stood up on a long par 3 with a forced water carry of about 165 yards and whiffed it. I don't think the club got within an inch.
All my friends are lying on the ground laughing their asses off.
Then comes the fun...I chunked the next swing into the lake. Reloaded and fatted another one in the lake and a third.
I finished the hole with a 12.

I can relate to this.P_102 said:That's easy....many years ago I went through a case of the shanks, el hosel....playing in a club tournament I was doing OK till I got to 18. Ripped a pretty good drive and was approx. 100 yards out...shanked that sucker smack dab into the middle of about half the members that had formed a gallery to watch.
longshot said:This is my most memorable.I was about sixteen ( quite a few years ago) playing a course on holiday with some friends. The hole was a par 3,i think about 140yrds on a elevated tee.
I hit a 7 iron over the green which hit a concrete path the ball bounced high in the air over a fence onto the road and landed on a hearse complete with flowers and mouners following behind.
They stopped briefly and must of been a bit confused as all they could see were three bags on the tee.We had hidden in the trees when the ball hit the hearse.
