You have to play a while to know your game,
and then a while longer to learn how to play inside of it.
Then, the scores come down and the game inside which you must play gets gradually bigger.
When I first started as boy, people said I had a pretty swing and follow- through--couldn't understand why I didn't put the clubface on the ball better than I did.
Then somebody suggested that I keep my left heel from lifting off the ground on my backswing. That little change and nothing else took me immediately into the 90s. I must have been losing my balance.
