I have a Leupold RX 800i TBR DNA that's like 2 years old now...hasn't let me down yet.

I use it for both golf and hunting. Still on the original battery...uses CR123's though...so that might be a downside if you don't use those otherwise. Search the internet to find the best price.

I see the benefits of a range finder but stick with my GPS watch because it is what I have. if you go that route, I highly recommend the Garmin Vivoactive.

I'll preface my comment about Laser DMDs with a disclaimer that I have a Garmin GPS and love it.

However, I recently looked at what is out there with Lasers. The Bushnell V3 seems to be popular given its features and price point. Yet, despite its popularity not all the reviews were glowing. Some claimed the battery life wasn't great when using the vibrating pin lock option. A couple claimed they had to return it because it had stopped working. Then lots liked it. One thing though, I was stunned to learn that Laser DMDs don't have a rechargeable battery. Having to pay for the replacement of a specialty battery seems a ripoff to me. My Garmin GPS can last at least 3 rounds before recharging. That's the way it should be.

There seem to be some kick ass lasers at the top of range end but they seem to be about $500

Resurrecting this thread. Anyone here have a rangefinder they'd sell to me? Preferably with a USB charger.
