Any of you guys have these clubs...and if so, did you move from the x-16s?

In fact, any comments on the x-18s?

Thanks!

I've had them for about 4 months now and I like them alot. They look nice in the bag, but the topline could be a little thinner. Pretty forgiving and easy to work. I have the uniflex steel shafts, the only option for steel, and they play like a stiff flex. When I hit it on the sweet spot it feels almost like my old mp-14. Quite a bit of offset, but nothing like the slingshots. Overall, its a high quality club, there's not alot of new technology here, but its the kind of club you wont feel silly looking at at address.

The uniflex shaft is the standard shaft but you can order them with a variety of steel shafts.

If you have the x-16 their is not much of a difference in playability. I do like the new look better.

In the catalog they sent me the uniflex was the only option for steel shafts. Must be more options buying them through a store.

It is easier to say their is only one shaft so that is how most show it but you can get just about any shaft you want. Some will have an upgrade charge depending on the cost of the shaft.

I have talked with other shop owners that didn't know they could order different shafts.

i bought a set this spring.mine also have uniflex shafts.i wanted stiff shafts but the guy at the shop told me i didnt need them just hit an extra club.

at the beginin of the season thats what i did,but know they are carrying as far as my old RAM titaniums w/ stiff dynamic gold shafts.

i was told that uniflex was between reg flex and stiff.so i guess that unless your using x-stiff shafts.you will only notice a slight diffence.

the x- 18`s feel real sweet when i hit them good.wich seems to be gettin quite often now that i have used them for about 2 months.

I got the chance to swing them at Sports Authority the other day. I'm still not impressed by Callaway's bulkiness. I still have my eyes set on Mizunos.
