So I'm taking a trip to Carmel at the end of March and was curious as to whether anyone had any suggestions on golf besides Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay or Spyglass. I really can't justify the 250-450 a round to play these courses. This whole college student on a budget thing is less than ideal.

So I'm taking a trip to Carmel at the end of March and was curious as to whether anyone had any suggestions on golf besides Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay or Spyglass. I really can't justify the 250-450 a round to play these courses. This whole college student on a budget thing is less than ideal.

Best bang for the buck in the Pebble beach area is Poppy Hills and for Seaside (10 miles up the coast) you have to hit Fort Ord Bayonet, the Fort Ord course is by far one of the toughest in the area and bring plenty of balls with you.

Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links in Pacific Grove is a great course too. Here is the URL:
