As most of you know I'm pretty enamored with the Single Length Iron craze and I'd like to pull the trigger on a set soon.

I've been researching inexpensive shafts and I'm looking at Apollo and FST as the final candidates.

Anyone have experience with either of these shafts???

If the heads are going to fly off due to the poor "glue job", who cares what shafts....... ;);) (That was mean!! I apologize!)

No recent experience with either of those you mention. Had some Apollo shafts in Cobras waaaayyyy back when and did not like them at all.

If the swing weight calculator is to be trusted, the 274 head, 125 shaft and 50 grip will give me a swing weight of D0 at a 36.5" playing length.
It will be close with the calculator. I have some 50g split grips so I can weigh the clubs on my SW scale before gripping and add weight if needed.
