i am a 14-15 handicap player and 16 years old
i often here that the way to improve your scores dramatically is to work on chipping
are there any fundamental tips/advice you can give to help with chipping
any advice on other ways to cut my handicap down to single digits aside from chipping will be appreciated.
thanks

Chipping help!

First, let me just say, I love the photo you included--what a riot!!
Now, quickly go to www.sullivangolf.com and using their contact page send them an e-mail with your name and address, asking for a free copy of their Chip Tight chipping manual. This may not still be available for free, but I got mine and I improved my chipping dramatically! I'm a 0.8 index and thought I was a solid short game player, but their new method is so foolproof and simple, I recommend it to players of all levels.

Tell me a few of your golf goals. What part of your game needs the most work? driving? short game? do you learn best by books, video, one-on-one instruction? I am sure I can recommend a few things if you give a bit more info.
Best,

Doug

I got a video on chipping once that basically said you chip like you putt, arm swing only, no wrists, length of backstroke controls length of chip. Roll knees to left (right hander) to keep them quiet. Actually chipping with body turned left of target. I use only pitching wedge and know exactly what it will do. This all works great for me now. I can usually chip within a couple feet of hole or closer if I've got a decent lie.
