I got me one a dose!

Picked it up today. Graffaloy prolaunch blue stiff.

I toyed with the 460 comp but for an extra $125 plus the advice of the pro.....I went with the older model.

Range tomorrow, tourney on saturday...I'll let you know how it goes.

    Oh, yeah.....the pro gave me a dozen precept U-Tri tours....free! :)

    Sweet. Love those balls....

What did you pay for the Driver?

List was $279. I gave him my R580 and R580XD for $140 so with the tax I payed about $160. :)

Congrats Sling...great club. Love mine, although I ended up winning an auction for an MP-001 today...so we'll see how that turns out (8.5 with a NV65 stiff) for a piddly amount.

Way to go, sounds like a good deal. I'm gonna try and demo the Cobra 460 one more time this weekend and if I still like I'm ready to pounce.

Hey, congrats on the new driver man, i actually just bought myself that driver about a week ago, and i love it, good luck in the tournament, let us know how it goes.

I notice alot of people looking for a follow up of this
    driver...;)

I think I made a mistake on the stiff shaft. I had a stiff NV in my old driver so I thought I could transition it to the new one.....nope.

I played only one round with it and late in the round I found that the harder I swung the styraighter the ball....go figure....more data next week.

You still got the Loco with the NV as fall back, right? What advice did the pro give re. the shaft? I hear the prolaunch hits it higher?
btw what have you done with your 2 ball. I could find a home for it... :)

Brutal....i just sold mine on E-bay.....mint shape too. :(

    R35

The NV is broken......The 2 ball belongs to my pro now.

I was telling IG and KA that I scored my 460 Comp on ebay for $265. I bided my time and bid for it on the 1 day that I knew most golf nuts wouldn't be online - Sunday final round of The Masters - so I got it near enough half price to what I'd pay here

    Comp for $265? Bastard! ;)

I am getting this baby dialed in, maybe that stiff shaft isn't so bad after all.

I was launching the balls very high with a power fade....suck.
Today I moved the ball back in my stance about 8 inches so at adress the thing is more or less in the middle of my stance rather than aligned with my left armpit and guess what?....No more slice! :)

The ball was flying long and straight for the most part but favoring the left side of the fairway....I have to adjust my aim a bit and I should be good to go.
