....does anyone else get the feeling that everyone is cheering for DiMarco instead of Eldrick?....

Or is it just me?...

I like Woods and make no bones about it.

On the other hand, I was for DeMarco today. The guy is tough and was the underdog. He gave it up early and fought like a champion on the final 18. He missed so many makeable ones...

Tiger's shot on 16 will do down in history as one of the greatest ever.

I replayed it on Tivo a couple of times and it appeared the ball had completely stopped...but it was just barely moving...the drama was incredible.

I like DiMarco too. And a true warrior he is!
I am very sure he'll win a major soon, he's got so much talent.

I was watching the chip live very intently. At first, I was wondering why he chipped to the left, then I remembered that there was a slope getting to the hole. As it took the slope, I was thinking there was a nice chance of getting in. The last few moments the ball rolled, I just couldn't believe how close it came to the hole, and as it stood near the hole, I was just saying "No way, it's on the edge, it's got to go in" and BAM...
The chip took like 6-7 seconds, but it seemed to me it lasted for a whole half minute.
Watching the thing live is very great drama indeed.

On the downhill par 3, when his ball stuck......then rolled all the way down the hill to give DiMarco that weak chip, whent he commentators brutally thought that the "effect of Wood's ball hitting the green dislodged DiMarco's ball  ", I knew Chris was finished.

Lady luck was smiling on woods on many occasions today.....ball off the trees that kicks right into the first cut, the 16th, DiMarco's lack of luck....

It's too bad. Now it's like "meh, Wood's won the Masters. Great, another green jacket.".

I would have prefered:

DiMarco, he sure played well to win this Masters.

The guy fell apart a bit in the morning, but made soe clutch putts and hit some fantastic irons to keep him in it.

Good work by him. He's been due.

This guy really can play.

Now, we're gonna see that luck sack pitch on 16 for months.

I could really care less that Tiger won. I think DiMarco winning would have been better for golf. Now the headlines are all gonna be "He's Back" and "Look out everyone else" or "When will the winning end?"

It sorta makes me gag.

Seriously. . . I literally Yelled "NOOO!!!" in my living room when that thing fell on 16. . .and then when dimarco's chip on 18 lipped out, i almost had a heart attack, if that had gone in it would have been over right there. . .that was a very exciting match though, exceptional golf from both. . .sucks Tiger won but oh well. . .Dimarco is definitely due though

I wouldn't have minded if DiMarco won, but I'm glad that Tiger won, even if just to avoid all of the "what went wrong?" headlines. "Why'd he lose it?" "Is his mental game gone?" "Does he still have the fire?"...all that shit.

Both played their hearts out. I found myself pulling for both of them at times. No doubt they will replay the pitch on 16 over and over but why not, it was one of the greatest clutch shots ever.

I really get the feeling the Chris will win some tournaments now. Overcoming that nine holes in the morning showed me he has real toughness and heart and it was just a half inch that separated him from victory on 18.

It was a great finish and for the second straight year I'm glad I got to watch it.

I agree. He will win a Major now. He'll have the feeling of been there...now is my time.

I was rooting for Woods all the way. While I wanted Dimarco to mount a comeback to provide drama (which he did), the ultimate goal was for him to lose (which he did). Great Masters.

BTW, if you don't have Hi-definition or Tivo, get it. Right, Bravo? :)

Dimarco always seems to be unlucky in majors and is always up there and just shows he is a top class player. But every time he goes to hit a shot I think he is going to hit a huge pull or a heav. shot

I agree, when you see the shot on TV, you see the ball go left, but the guy actually fades it.
