Any of you Canucks been following the sweet curling action.
Curling? What the heck is that? You mean like 16 ounce curls? Giving each other perms? Curly locks, huh? That must be what my wife sees in Rock, and my mom see in... Oh nevermind. THAT is an ugly picture.

My flowing locks are legendary....

Curling, haven't been following it. Couldn't be bothered. I can play the game, just not watch it unless there are hotties playing. Then it's at least entertaining.

I'd rather watch poker. At least you can laugh at the commentating.

Jennifer Jones from Manitoba is kinda cute. I know the girl she beat to get to the Nationals.

I know a guy that sat on a plane next to Wayne Gretzky, played poker with him for about an hour, and didn't realize it was him until they were landing and the stewardess used his name.

This same guy, might know someone that curls. ;)

Seems to me that curling might be the Canadian equivalent of baseball. To the outsider it seems a slow boring sorta sport but for the most part as a nation we love it. kinda like you Yankees and baseball. I just an't see why it's so popular. It's decent sport but slow. I guess thats how people outside of countries were it sint so big may veiw curling.

Curlin'

I tried "CURLIN" in highschool. We had a blast trying to see who could throw that rock down the ice with the most speed! One guy damn near broke his foot when the rocks smashed into each other and one bounced off his foot.

I think Canadians like curling because they can drink large amounts of alcohol while playing the game! That's the only way I would play, I'd have to be loaded!

But it is a popular sport here, then again why not. We have ice all year round here, and the way this winter is going we might have ice outside until the end of May!

-5C here this morning, just got back in from my walk. Should have worn long pants instead of shorts but it didn't seem that cold when I left the house. The windbreaker did a great job though. Pretty soon it will be time to break out the flip flops for the daily walk. or go barefoot.:D

Golf can't be that far away, as there is only about 8 inches of snow laying around now. Won't be long now!

Ice all year-- I think the Canadians will win the long drive in our world tourney. ;)

At the risk of furhter ridicule. Curling is not for fags. I you ever have the opprontunity to try it, try it. It's fun, and requires great a deal of skill. I used to curl a lot when I was younger I even won a few bonspeils (tournaments). I play to pick it up again when I'm done school and settled somewhere.
