Custom shoe fitting

I saw that Maria Sharapova has her tennis shoes custom made.

"Getting my feet scanned yesterday. This is the process of creating custom made shoes based on the exact measurements of your feet...pretty fancy stuff."​

I wonder if any pro golfers have the same benefits. Without thinking, I'd say Tiger would. Wonder if any of the others have that benefit?

I had something like that done for a pair of hockey skates when I was younger. Not nearly as high tech, they actually made a mold of my feet and built the boot around it.

Seems like the tennis players would need it a bit more than a golfer due to the high speed stops and starts they have to make.
