Do any of you guys watch this show? It's frickin' fantastic.

I've been into the thing now where I watch a whole slew of episodes of a show at once and this has got to be one of the best that I've seen yet.

I wish we got HBO up here. I have to get these the hard way.

I watched the first 2 seasons with religious fervor.

I love the British actors who do American accents so well you don't know they are British.

Great, great show!

Ny only criticism would be the HBO scheduling....I got used to watching on Sundays then they went and changed the schedule to Tuesday (I think ) so it's much more difficult for me to catch.

What is the show about? Is it as good as the Sopranos? If so, I will get Tivo to fetch it for us....

It's about Deadwood, South Dakota and the struggles surrounding getting annexed in the late 1870s.

I haven't watched the Sopranos, so I can't comment on that, really.

HBO is starting to show some old Sopranos episodes. I may record one or two and burn them onto a DVD for ya...absolutely addicting.

well, they're out on video and I could always go to the video store

and/or acquire it in the usual way I acquire missed tv episodes

I've always meant to watch The Sopranos...just haven't got around to it yet. I did have a movie entitled "The Sopornos" on my computer at one point...never did finish getting that one though.

I am certain that the Sopornos would be stimulating in an entirely different way...

But if you get a chance to acquire (through some unspecified method) an entire season of the Sopranos - go get it and sit down.

It is a blast...incredibly violent though. And I am not into violent movies - don't watch horror etc because I think its really boring and unrealistic.

During one season of the Sopranos, the writers and directors did a great job of getting the viewers to really hate a particularly irritating character who was a mob member. You keep wondering, "when are they going to write him out of the show?"...

Then you see it - when the Boss (Tony) shoots him, the decapitates him and chops his body into little pieces and puts it all in a black plastic garbage bag.

Now - thats Realism....
