Two weeks ago, I went out and got two dozen U-Tri Tours at Edwin Watts. Their regular price is $30 a dozen - which matches most of the huge retailers like Dick's etc.
They Do however, give you a break when you buy at least two dozen - down to $28 a dozen. Everyday price.
On Saturday, I play the new balls the entire time and I am really happy with the switch. When I hit the driver well (on the backside) it smoked. I cannot remember getting any more out of the Pro-V1x than I got out of the Precept.
Our greens this time of year are hard. They have been aerated, top dressed and rolled with a heavy roller. So they are not as "receptive" as they will be later in the season when they are putting the water on them to keep them going.
While I did not literally get "drop and stop" out of my approaches, I was getting "hit and go 1-2 feet and stop". I'll take this on firm greens. Also - very good handling around the green on the chips and pitches.
I just hated watching $4 go down the toilet every time I lost a Pro-V1....
