Went down to this new golf store at 6.30pm to try out a few drivers, as a change is needed. They have this new hole net system thing that measures club head speed, ball speed and lauch angle so I got on this bad boy with the~
R7 tour perferred £600 of pure beauty this thing is one sexy biatch so hit a few shots with it my club head speed was around the 110-115 mph mark which I was told was faster than most people that had used the system it was a pro golfer looking at me testing who works there and he said he thought I had a good swing, which was a confidence boaster, so anyway it felt nice with a great speeder shaft in it which was stiff, my ball speed was something like 160mph. And can't remeber the lanch angle he ethier said 14 or 40* I wasn't really interested I was to busy making love to this club. Anyway I'm strongly considering getting it the only put off was the price tag.
Second club I hit was the
983 k conforming with a adila nv stiff shaft, not much I can say about this club basically the same as the one I have and felt the same I was told the head is slightly smaller on the conforming and there would only maybe be 2-3 yards difference so this is another stong possibility and the price tag is good, at £180 now.
3rd and final club was the
Taylormade R580xd with the lines in the middle of the face which makes it conforming, if i'm being honest this club was the worst of the lot I just hate the felling of it when you nail it you don't get that squashing club face feeling, you all know what i'm talking about
. It felt dead and heavy and my siwng speed was only 109mph with this comparec to the other clubs which where 114 odd maybe it was just the siwngs or the heavier shaft. Anyway this club is ruled out, I dislike it but once again the price tag is good.
Anyone agree or disagree with me and should I demo anything else tommorow?
Thanks.
