Denting Driver?

So I have been a bam bam type from the tee ever since I started playing golf which is only four years. I had a hand me down set and just upgraded my set with a new set from Dick's. Due to money at that time I got the cheap set that they sell but that have been great. First day out on the range I and driving off the tee and I dented the club head right on top of the toe of the head of the club. I do not recall hitting it in that area but yet a dent shows up. the driver was a regular shaft and I like a firm shaft so i just up graded to a new Olimer Tri Metal driver. I love it but yet again here comes the dent. Same place and no ball marks. Does this happen alot? I thought with a better club this would not be an issue but it is. It does not change the feel off the tee and i still hit it nice and striaght but it is an eyesore? Should I be worried? Should i look into taking it back? Any help would be great

Yeah, or stop hitting rocks with it. ;)

Seriously, get a pic of it and post it here, I'd like to see it.

If the dent is shaped like a ball you are out of luck. If it is a dent like the face has been pushed back then I would return it.

I took it back already. The dent was on the top side right about a half inch from the face on the toe end of the club. Oddly enough it has happened before. maybe i need someone to slap me around and get my swing in shape. They asked no questions on the ruturn and I just exchanged it for the same thing because it felt great. I hope this one does better in keeping its form.

I had actually seen, this on several drivers. It was when I was in high school golf. It was a combination of cheap drivers and topped shots. You aren't alone on this.

Dent is from dropping driver into bag, the head is hitting other clubs.
