ok, with the lessons i have been taking, the changes have added some distance to my game, as well as increased accuracy, yay, and consistency, yay, but, this has played hell with my short irons and getting the right distances, which costed me a tournament round today, could have easily shot low 80s but just couldn't get the right club in the certain situations, anyone have any drills they use or any common knowledge about dialing in their short irons and wedges, thanks a bunch

Go on the range and practice till you know your distances well enough, confidence is the main thing.

    Yep, nail on the head.

    Practice, practice, practice.

Your body will remember. Trust me.

    What they said.

You can never replace the feel of practice. You need to really concentrate on your yardage when practicing, use a spicific club for a spicific distance. Watch to make sure you didnt hit one great shot and now always play that 9 iron to fly 145.
