Well, time has passed. Let's go around the board, see what everyone would like to have as a Dream Set of clubs and ball. Money is no expense.

    Personally:

Callaway GBBII Pro Series Tour driver, 3-7 woods, Grafalloy Blue shafts
X16 Pro Series Tour Van irons, 3-9, Golf pride Tour Velvet rib grips
Cleveland Gunmetal wedges, 51, 57 and 61 degrees
    Odyssey Tri Hot #2
    Callaway HX Tour ball #2

Anyone else a dreamer like me?

If price is no concern, I'd go for a:

Driver Titleist 983E with Accuflex Assassin
Irons Mizuno MP-29 Double Forged Blades, from 1 to PW :p :p
Wedges Cleveland CG1 52 and 60 degrees no bounce
    Putter Titleist Bullseye
Ball Any triple or more covers will do :)

I like the assasin shaft, an R7 would be cool and.......I had some Hogan apex blades in my hand at the pro shop at my course, they are nice looking clubs.
Putter? there are so many.....I tried the ping craz-e I'll take that and if it doesn't work out I'll use it to make seed trenches in my vegetable garden. :D

The Craz-E looks like a pooper scooper. Sure feels nice tho.

    The putter i mean....

I also need a 3 wood, but have no idea where to begin...

    Dream talk

If Cally signed me up, I'd go with a full retro set, bespoke obviously.

http://www.callawaygolf.com/en/index.aspx (look at Lefty's face, he can barely contain himself after signing for big time $$$$s)

I'd try that new hybrid driver ERC Fusion and thow in a 3 wood while your'e at it Ely.
I quite like the look of those X16 Pro series with Rifle shafts (6.0)
And I'd go for a 2 ball blade
I also like the HX Tour (Black)

I of course would have Titliest headcovers and bag, just to mix it up a bit.

I'm waiting for the call from Carlsbad....still waiting...aaaaaahhhh

Please don't misunderstand. I am, and will probably always be a HUGE Mickelson fan ( anyone on board for the 1st regiment of Mickelson's Melitia?). But that look just seems to OOZE "Suckers!" "Suckers, suckers, sucker..." "I got paid ? million $ for you suckers to look at my shirt-sleeve. I love 'dis country!"

    On to the bag.

    Cally Fusion Prototype
    GBB woods, 7-3.
X-16 irons, 4-p, probably graphite of my choice.
I'll keep my cheap wedges 60, 56*. Sorry I just love them too much.
Gotta keep my Tour Edge Putter too, same reasons. But I am willing to discuss an alternate headcover.
    Cally HX prototype ball.

Lessons with Haney, after which the above list will change. I will then take whatever Phil is playing, just right-handed.

I haven't tried the R7 yet, but since money is no object I'll take one. Shaft to be determined.
I just switched irons, (yesterday's post) so I'll stick with that choice. Mizuno MX-23, S300 shafts.
TM Rescue fairway 3 with NV 65 Green. (Christmas is a comin)
Sonartec Md 19 degree stock stiff. (Birthday won't be long after that)
Wedges to be determined, but will probably be Cleveland, Mizuno or Callaway
Putter's pretty new too & I'm still in the honeymoon phase. Go ahead let me have it. Snotty Studio Design 2.5. :D

I don't understand the draw for Scotty Cameron putters. They don't have much feel as far as i'm concerned and they're bloody expensive.

I guess to each their own.

Anyone tried the new Ti's from Callaway? Those putters suck too. :D

Just my $0.02. (But remember, i'm from Canada, so that two cents it virtually worthless all over the globe. ;) )

I would have agreed with you until I picked this one up & if I had known how much they cost I probably wouldn't have touched it. They are too expensive but I got mine from a friend for about 1/2 price. (Still overpriced)
IMO what they have is great balance, & that black pearl finish is really cool. I have also found that my distance control is better than with my White Hot #4. Of course it's most likely all in my head, but isn't that what putting is all about. :D

I see you're going about this the right way, Dave! :D

LOL. One of the guys I play with on Wednesdays has the ugiliest, nastiest putter you've ever seen but he is lights out with the thing. Honestly, it looks like something that was beaten out on an anvil and attached to a broom stick with a grip so big you can barely get your hands around it. Hmmm... this could have something to do with the player. ;)
