Hi all, been lurking for a bit, finally joined up.

I just picked up an Adams Redline Driver off eBay, figured it would be good for an course in "How to hit a big 460cc stick".

Anyways the stock shaft is 46" ithat's way too long for me and most people or so I gather. After hitting it at the range a few times I'm gonna have to get it cut down about an inch and a half, plus a new grip.

So currently I'm not happy, but soon to be happy once I take it to the shop.

Im not happy with the way I have been hitting it off the tee lately. I have a nasty slice and it has just been killing me off the tee. The rest of my game is alright but my driver is terrible right now.

Man, my game off the tee is rock solid right now. Since I got the R7 is has just seemed so easy. It is by far the best driver I have ever hit. 280 down the pipe is fine for me anyday.........

i use a ping Si3 10* driver. from the first time i used it i have been able to get it a good 270+ up the fairway, with an occasional fade (which is not inteneded). The sweet spot seems to cover, more or less, all of the face. shots coming off either the heel or the toe even go fairly straight and a fair distance!

i have heard some bad press bout this driver from different places, but i cant fault it! a worthy investment

I'm not huge off the tee, so I actually carry 2 drivers. . .I just picked up the Taylor Made R580 XD--9.5. Its starting to come around. I'm averaging about 260 with it. And if I swing it well, then I can pull a 275 or a little bigger on occasion. I also carry an Adams T.Lies Driver--10.5. Its straight for me almost everytime I pull it from the bag. But I'm only getting 225 to 230 out of it. Yes I swing it easy. My bag will eventually be metalwoods and short irons, that's it.

well, after today i couldn't be more wrong, driver sucked today, 3 wood was the killer, with the crappy shaft, driver showed signs of life late but i'll sort it all out at the range tomorrow,
finally commited to a preshot routine, didn't think it would help me out that much during a round, but it really did, something to come back to and repeat time and time again
