Dynaflex Powerball? does it work

my mom got reward money from her discover card and she can use it at several stores, she usually gets a "sharper image" card if anyone knows of them, and anyway, i remember in one of spanks, "get fit" threads someone mentioned a powerball type thing where u spin it around, i saw these in our catalog and was wondering if anyone has tried these and if they really work?,

I have one of those. It trains certain muscles of your wrists and forearms that you don't normally use in everyday's life. Though I've only used it for 2 weeks, I haven't seen any real improvements. Of course, you need to train for more then that to see something.
Anyways, I would more recommend a gripper, and also strength training your axial rotation muscles, plus your legs for added stability.
