Here is a picture of my first hole-in-one hole. This is #8 at Eaglewood in North Salt Lake Utah. The hole-in-one was from about five years ago, though.
I took this picture last Saturday after playing extremely poorly in the annual Am there. I thought some people would like to see the course.

That is a pretty cool course. It doesn't look like there is much in terms of Trouble. It is a little tough to see all the course though so I may be wrong.

Yeah, the courses here tend to be a little open overall. Eaglewood is not an easy course from the back tees, though. This picture makes it look like a links course, but I wouldn't categorize it as a links course. There are trees, water hazards, etc. all over. This picture is probably a little misleading, really.

Yes. I used to play there all the time about 10 years ago. There is definitely more trouble. How is the course up there these days? Back when it was new the greens were very slow.

The greens are fine. We had plenty of snow and rain and all of the courses are in great shape this year.

The fastest greens I played in a tournament this year was the State Am Qualifier at Valley View. The greens must have been rolled for that tournament because they were amazingly fast and much faster than they are normally kept. It was sweet!
