So we are teeing off yesterday. I haven't seen the oldest brother in 15 years.

He has spent much of the past ten in the East, living in Singapore and Korea.

We are on the practice range and he says, "look at my new clubs".

Set of Ping irons, TM r7 Driver, Tm r7 3 wood and Odyssey 2-ball putter.

Brand new Ping bag.

Then he says, "Got it all for $190 in China".

I mean these are not thinly veiled clones - they are outright counterfeits.

He tells me about his trip to the golf shop in Shanghai...

The man says...."We harrve Carroway, we harrve Ping and we have Tierrrrist. Takey you pick".

Shameful ripoff of intellectual property.

I guarantee your MP3 player is a ripoff of some other player, somewhere in the world.

But, I bet they're all made on the same block.

Do you think so?

Is an MP3 player some sort of proprietary, intellectual property?

I thought it was generic - kind of like a CD player. You or I could produce our own under the RockVO brand...
