Finally got the MP3 player working..

I want to use headphones with the Tour Temp tones.

Don't want to spend a bundle and my 14 yo daughter refuses to lend the iPod mini.

So I got the supercheap no-name Chinese brand off ebay...256MB for $52 with shipping.

When I received it - it crapped out. I am dealing with Wan Hung Lo somewhere in Oregon who speaks Szechwan with a hint of Mandarin.

To his credit - he sends me an exhange at no cost.

I love the directions. They include sentences like this...

"Do not make the unit friction and impact with rigid substance, avoid other parts damaged".

Hey - with advice like this - you will love your new No-Name MP3 player.

So I download a few music files and two TourTempo tones.

Won't recognize the Tour Tempo. Some music fine - others not there. I discover these are MP4 files - which it does not support.

Download free conversion software and convert mp4 to mp3.

Works like a champ.

Bravo, what did you use to convert the m4a files to mp3? I was meaning to ask about that before but never got around to it...
