All of this. I've had both (currently have gas) and would never go back to wood. Flip a switch, instant fire, flip it again, fore goes away. Fnck all that other noise.My brother in law just had his wood fireplace converted. Once the charm wore off, his hatred for hauling and chopping wood, cleaning it out all the time and the insurance risk/hit, he would never, ever go back.
