Went all out at Dick's yesterday. Bought a Frogger groove cleaner and Frogger towel. Those two items cost me over $50 with tax! But I'll be cool (equipment wise anyway)... ;)

Was actually looking for deals on a last year's 3-wood and they had some beautiful Callys.... all in left hand! Figure that one out.

Interesting - I bought a new towel also. It was a toss up between this and the frogger:

Amazon.com: BrightSpot Solutions Spotless Swing Premium Multi-Use Golf Towel: Sports & Outdoors

I'll check it out this weekend and see

Well... sounds like a year when we'll buy towels instead of drivers. I bought a new Titleist towel during the off season. Much cheaper than an R4,238 model driver from TMAG... and will probably have as much resale value as the latest driver.

As far as the left-handed clubs, maybe that's something you need to embark upon, WBL. Change from right-handed to left handed. You've mastered hitting the ball right handed. Switch sides and beat the rest of the old foggies from either side of the ball! Then, when you're in the nursing home, you can take those old ladies either right handed or left handed playing shuffleboard!!! :>)

Gotta love stuff!!!

Went out a few days ago and got some short and shirts and stuff.

And.... a BLUE belt! Yes a blue belt! Now I just need to figure out a way to justify a pair of custom FJ Icons to match! $275 tho... ouch!!!

Just bought a Callaway Diablo Octane Black Tour Driver with a PX shaft, £240. Think that will be me for the rest of this year.

You Yankees are months behind!!!! The friggin' peach trees are blooming here for goodness sakes!!!! The Masters starts in less than 4 weeks!!!!!

Hell, I've already ho'ed 2 drivers, a 5 wood shaft, a putter, changed grips on my irons, and played in 3 tournaments. Keep up!!!!

I know that's right Doc. I've stocked up on balls, (last years models on sale), regripped all my clubs with the Lampkin Ndur, (black and white), bought a Frogger club brush, a balleze ball cleaner, played probably 10 rounds of golf, and had a tournament rained out.

I've also been demoing drivers, still in Love with the new Cleveland Launcher XL270, and contemplating replacing my irons, leaning towards the Bridgestone J38 blended set.

I bought a new Speedline Driver, a Pro-Launch Red Shaft, and an Aldila VooDoo shaft, and I can't get them pass the stupid American frontier without having to pay $200!!!!!!

My boy busted the Reg. shaft on his FT-3 Tour, so I bought him and FT-5 Tour with a stiff shaft....for $30! He's already striping the damn thing! Sometimes I just hate him... ;)

Hoping that'll be all my ho'ing because I'm not playing enough to justify changing anything in either of my bags.

Well, I'll probably get his FT-3 shafted to match the FT-5 so he's got a back up.

I joined the Nike staff this season, so my bag has been completely overhauled. I'm playing the VR Tour driver from last season (the non-adjustable one), the new VR Pro 3 wood, VR Pro hybrid, VR Pro Blades, and am waiting for the new wedges so I have the VR V-Rev wedges from last season for now, and the Method 003 putter. Guess I need a new picture now...

Interesting comment about playing the VR Tour driver (last years non-adjust model) b/c I see the only current option with the VR Pro driver is - adjustable. I thought there might be a few pros who would continue to play last years model. ... yes, pictures please!!

So far I have been very impressed with all of the clubs. I was at The Oven in Fort Worth to get fitted for all of the clubs, so it was cool to see the whole facility and watch my clubs get built. I went in their putter fitting studio and was shown the effect that the Method grooves have on the ball to impart forward roll faster. With my old putter the amount of skid was just under 1 inch before it started rolling. With the Method I was able to drop that distance to .3 inches before true roll. I also really like the hybrid, the ball jumps off the face.

Bstone, on an other discussion forum I'm a member of, a touring pro posts his experiences there. The members there really love it. It would be really great if you could post some of your experiences of playing as a professional here.
