In winds gusting up to 60 km per hour today I shot a respectable 73 today with 5 birdies and 6 bogies. On a 350 yard hole I hit driver 6 iron and came 5 feet short.

I hit my driver well till my legs got a little weak, irons were perfect, chipping was ass and putting was good. Still won 6 dollars today so I am happy.

Big money match tomorow :)

Nice work. It's sorta funny how you have real good holes and real bad ones at the start of the year, and have no idea why. I was the same way. I played some holes just great, but others it was like I hadn't played for years. It's still there, you just have to ooze it out. :)

Nice shooting.

My chipping was really poor today, I thought I was hitting good chips just some were checking up and some released well past the hole. I did chip with my LW and I usually chip around the greens with my SW so that may have been it.

I didn't have the usual ugly shots you see from early season golfers. I have been hitting balls down my shore for a month now.

Golfing in the wind is fun and the sort of golf I clean money in. Nobody has the patience t compete with me.

BTW thanks, you didn't do so bad yourself. Same score I believe.

You are a better man than I.
Ones score has nothing to do with being a better man. I only play the game to have fun and beat my friends.

Nice round Jason.
You really can tell talented players as they can shoot low even after a long period without practice.
But, it's so nice to have two scratches on the ROTW side... bd must be in the range right now, lol...

I had a 74. Two birds, two goddamned doubles. The one I earned being an idiot out of the sand. The other was just stupid.

I can play better than that. I gotta get to the beach and get that flop outta the sand down pat, or i'm gonna snap! :p

This game is all about fun. If you get competitive, it just becomes work. I'm all about heading to the course and kicking the shit out of my 18+ handicap friends and then buying the pitcher afterwards. :)

Hrmmmm can someone eliminate that score from the team event. I screwed that up quick enough. I put 73 as my score and I realized I was suppost to put 35 (5 birides, 6 bogies, and 7 pars). I don't want to be aiming for 73 every day....lol

I don't think the scores count yet. No official scoring until April 30, if I'm not mistaken.

That's the right date. I'm sure bd can fix it when he's through getting his leg hacked on.
