well seeing as how you have 181 posts in 8 yrs that might be part of the problem.

Tricky dies every so often, but he's made more comebacks than Lazarus!
Not a huge number of active members on ShotTalk. We've had some "extremely professional posters"... like Sol... but the mods run them/him off! 
ShotTalk has seemed to be one big family. There are the "black sheep"... like Tricky. There are the ancient scribes... like WBL, ssmokin', wigolfer, etc. Then, there are the hard headed, dumb as a box of rocks, penile challenged like... Well, there seems to be a ton of those!
Traffic on most any discussion board will cycle. And, one specifically dedicated to a game that is losing participants, globally, doesn't help. You can only have so many discussion about cast vs. forged and blades vs. game improvement. The youngsters on here are still having kids, so we can congratulate them as another is hatched. We can brag about specific rounds of golf... or complain about the bad rounds. And, we can read jokes and see fat ladies with minimal clothing.
ShotTalk is NOT dead! It's still the best on-line golf discussion board available to the human race!!
