FST announces its re-launch of improved brand-driven web site

BOULDER, Colo. -- Golf’s steel shaft specialists, FEMCO Steel Technology (FST) announces the re-launch of its brand-driven web site at FST Golf Shafts | Steel Shafts. The redesigned web site highlights the company’s renowned success story and its new line of premium steel shafts — the FST Series, FST Pro Series and FST Hi Rev, all of which have been engineered by industry-acclaimed steel shaft designer, Kim Braly.

“The new web site offers a fresh, new look and we’re excited to unveil our new line of FST shafts in a format that visually conveys our focus on premium steel shafts,” says Larry Bodle, director of marketing for FST Shafts. “FST is exclusively dedicated to the design, development and distribution of high-quality steel golf shafts. Some of the world’s top 10 golfers play steel shafts designed by Kim Braly, and we’re committed to re-introducing golfers to the true performance benefits of playing steel.”

The new FST website features FST’s new 2008 steel shaft products, shaft specifications, trimming instructions, testimonials, and company history.

Far East Machinery Co. Ltd., (FEMCO), established in 1949, is an international corporation specializing in precision, high quality steel products and services with over 1,000 employees worldwide. FEMCO Steel Technology (FST) became a wholly-owned subsidiary of FEMCO in 1993 and has become the second largest steel golf shaft manufacturer in the world. FST steel shaft processes incorporate innovative manufacturing methods and advanced technology that are basic to FEMCO from its long history of designing sophisticated CNC machine tools and precision steel tubes.

In addition, all FST steel shafts undergo high-quality precision manufacturing processes, such as: Exclusive “Oil-Quench’ tempering method which produces shafts that are arrow-straight from butt to tip; and matching shaft weight and frequency to the strictest tolerances to ensure peak playing performance and guaranteed repeatability.

That graph was terrible. And probably one of the many reasons they changed it.

It's got just about anything a growing boy needs. Specs, trimming instructions and a little flash.

Plus the shafts are sweet and cheap, which is a huge bonus.

Do you guys think FST is superior to true temper or just different?

Just different. They play similar to Rifle (the old version) and are 1/3 the cost.

The only downfall is that they don't have many .355T options.

from a value perspective - yes, superior

otherwise, whatever fits your swing/game is superior - if two shafts are very similar, I go for value
