Gas prices....crazy...

Filled up with gas today, topped 92 cents a litre. That's 1 US gallon = 3.7854118 Canuck litres, or $3.48CDN ($2.85USD) a gallon.

Insane in the membrane.

What's everyone else paying at the pumps these days?

I filled up last week for $1.96 USD. That's the lowest, and the highest I've seen is around $2.10. It varies a lot in the States but I think most of that has to do with state and local taxes.

We're down around $1.95 a gallon now. I was at Costco last week and used their pumps for the first time...paid $1.88.

Glad I don't have a Hummer or Suburban.

When I moved to VT 4 years ago it was $1.05/gal. I was loving life.. Now it has doubled anywhere from 1.96 (rare) to 2.17 (common)


Also when we moved here the US dollar was worth about 1.60 CDN. Now it's around 1.20... why am I still here?????

In New York state right now where I live it is avg. 2.18 a gallon.

The USD is very very weak now. This makes traveling abroad for us yanks very expensive...
