18th hole on the Queens course. Lovely finishing hole - drive over a gorge with the hole sweeping to the left.

Whoa! Dude...easy on the Genessee Cream ales.They'll blind ya. You need to switch over to Magic Hat #9 or Long Trail. Maybe a Molson Export.
Now what are you trying to say exactly? And where in Vermont are you?

Wait, bear with me, I'm still getting used to this...now who is drilling what on LAke Champlain? Sling? You drilling on Lake Champlain? Ice fishing or do you have a girlfriend up there?

My boyfriend lives up there.His business is in Plattsburgh, but he hovers between Lake Placid and Port Douglas the rest of the time.
Some nice and tough golfing around there fellas.

I'm there lately at least once a month.Burlington is where I fly into.Then I go downtown and hop the ferry over to Port Kent and I'm five minutes from my final destination.The ferry ride is about an hour since it crosses the broadest part of the lake.
And just so all of you don't leave this DB without a little education I'll leave you with this tidbit;

Lake Champlain is the "sixth largest lake" in the US and for that matter North America.It is approximately 125 miles long and about 15 miles wide at the widest point.The deepest part is maybe 500 feet and change according to the boating charts I've looked at but on average I'd say it' about 120-150 feet or less.There are gorgeous unihabited islands and for you history buffs it has some incredible history from the war of 1812, some nice forts up and down the lake, some good bass and pike fishing, and the zebra mussles have invaded the lake along with lampreys which have been controlled somewhat.

They also boast having their very own lake monster,"Champy", but since the Lake feeds into the Richlieu and then the St. LAwrence and then the Atlantic, my big brain tells me that the so called monster is probably an Atlantic sturgeoun that breeds and then seeks out fresh water every seven years to deposit it's eggs in a lake much like Champlain.Big ugly,serpentine looking fish.Really big in fact. If I were to see one in the water I'd probably drop a load then die.
There is treasure in those waters from the many wrecks. But the real treasure is the scenery. Because of the high peaks of the Green Mountains on one side and the even higher peaks of the Adirondacks on the NY side, it has a very Austrian /Swiss feel to it.

check out, www.lakechamplain.com

It's one of the most beautiful places on the planet and has cheap realestate on the NY side.

Yes, the size of the lake is not known to most North Americans. Outside of the Great Lakes which are so well known to Canadians and Americans, it is like Lake Champlain does not exist...

I lived one summer in a house overlooking the lake from the East, seeing the sun set over the Adirondacks...

Yes, the sunsets over the Adirondacks are impressive and the Vermonters have got that market cornered. But the sunrises that come up over the Green Mountains are even more gorgeous not to mention the Moon rises that are down right biblical.
