1. Play more than 60 rounds (almost there this year).
2. Play at least ten courses I have never played before.
3. Not buy any new clubs.
4. Retire more balls from overuse than I lose...
5. Enjoy every round for the simple beauty that playing provides.

My sole goal of '09...

1. Hit a fairway. If by some miracle of nature I have hit this fairway by June '09 I will amend my goal to 2 fairways for '09.
I don't want to be greedy and go for 3 because that will be using up some of my 2010 quota.

I'd also like to get half my game back and build my own club start to finish by Feb. :thumbs up:

I have already posted in this thread, but after my recent improvements I'd like to amend my goals.

1) Continue my improvements

2) Develop more consistency

3) Get my cap down to 10 or hopefully, single digits

4) Do better in tournaments, not fall apart like I did in them in 08

For much of my life I was an eight or a nine.

For a very brief time many years ago, when I was obsessed with golf and spent too little time with my family, I got down to a seven.

Now, I'm sixty-two years old, not especially thin, and play to an eleven.

My goal is to stay there. That would be great. At one year older, it would mean that I worked at it.

I just want to play a lot of golf, and take advantage of any free time I have. I've been pretty busy recently and haven't had the chance to play a lot and I keep saying to myself "it would be awesome if I had time to play". When I get the time, I'm going to try my hardest to get to the course as often as possible.
