What Rock said, only I would also highly recommend the club glove bag with a stiff arm. We use the Club Glove Burstproof and stiff arm. Although most airlines may not cover damage on a soft bag, club glove will. It is what most of the pros use. If you can't find the Stiff arm in time, a shower rod will work as well, just put it in the bag and extend it. Although I am not sure you really need anything but the bag if you get the club glove. Plus you can fold it up and put it out of the way when you get there. We've used ours about 20-30 times with no damage. On any travel bag, I highly recommend one with wheels.

I use a burst proof bag. Have had no problems. Rather than a stiff arm I put in a old driver which is longer than my gamer. Biggest hassle is mobility in airport before the golf bag is checked.
