The Tiger Woods series from EA Sports is good. 2004 and 2005 are especially good. You can customize a golfer that looks just like you and practice your game as you wish also. Also a plus to the PC version is that there are websites devoted to custom courses that people have created. You can download them for free so you won't get bored playing the same courses all the time.
Last I checked you can get a copy of 2005 for around $20.00 at Wal-Mart.
