Golf Doc. I like this guy!

Finally went to see a Doctor this past Tuesday for my shoulder.
First time seeing him.
When he walked into the exam room I told him I needed a cure for my slice.
He chuckled.
Kinda broke the ice, sorta speak.

After explaining all the problems I've been having with my right shoulder, I told him that when I used my driver the preceeding Saturday, (21st), I damn near dropped to my knees due to the severe pain that shot through me.
"But you played all 18, right?" he asked.
Figuring he was going to chew my ass out for finishing the round I confessed, "Yes I did."
His answer?
"Good man!"

He thinks I've got tendonitious and is referring me to an Orthopedic surgen.
Figures a shot of cortizone will give me enough relief to begin some theropy to strech the muscles, we'll see.

He gave me a script for an anti-inflammatory.
Being a truck driver I ask, "Can I take these while I'm driving?"
"Sure you can, just don't take them while you're chipping and putting!!!":laugh:

I think I like this Doctor!

Hey, another truck driver! This forum has a few of us.

Both of my rotator cuffs are shredded and I'm prone to having both of my shoulders dislocating rather easily, happened on the course last week driving off the tee. Terrible.

Get that thing taken care of, don't be like me

We have another driver in here,
Tenn_driver.
Haven't seen him in here in awhile though.
He runs over-the-road and carries his clubs with him in the truck.
He's always calling me to tell me where he is and where he's playing that day.
GOD, how I hate him!!!! (insert green-eyed icon here!)

We'll see what my deal is in 2 weeks.

Damn, that sounds seriously painful!

Yes Bob I know how much you love me (in a manly way), but we all know that if you can't keep up with the big dogs on the road, you get left on the porch to practice your putting with the women folks :laugh:

But you know Bob that if I had things my way, you would be playing with me around the country... I need cart driver and a caddy and someone to polish up my clubs and get my beers rop:

I hate to threadjack...but do you ever get in an "interstate car convoy"?

We get these going north and south on I-65 way out in the countryside.

When I was coming back from our beach trip a couple of weeks ago, I hit I-65 North and was going about 75 or so....

Then a 'convoy' of about 12 vehicles, driving almost bumper to bumper in a NASCAR draft comes flying by in the left lane....

I climb aboard after the last car and they are running a solid 90 MPH.

I love these. It's hard to get a ticket when you are 13 cars back in the pack. I've never seen the cops pull over more than 2-3 at a time.... When I get into a convoy, I do most of my driving looking in the rearview mirror for the blue light bar coming up from behind....

I kinda like driving the cart.
But I wouldn't have to worry 'bout cleanin' your clubs,
they wouldn't have a chance to get dirty 'cause,
after 2 beers you'd be passed out anyway!!!!!!:biglol:

HAHA I hear that one. Need to close a couple of courses in the area for at least the full day for our truckin' (golfin) convoy. I was thinking about driving for CRST outta California about 3 years ago, but decided against it. If anyone is ever in the Sarasota, Florida area let me know and we'll go out and shoot a round.

I could tell you horror stories...
But they tell me this is a golfing board.

Yeah definetly look me up. My woman told me the other day cause I was playing in a tournament and after the first weekend I was placed 200th out of 210, that I should give it up. I looked at her and basically laughed at her and told her that I will never give it up. Cause you had a bad day at 1 weekend of a tournament dont mean your going to keep having them. Gotta grow some how.
