Hello,

I have been around the board for awhile and there seems to be a pretty knowledglable group of people (most of them anyways:) ). Just a quick question. I was looking at getting some Foot Joy Gelfusions and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

I have the Contours but IMO, anything Footjoy is good if it fits and feels comfortable.

Footjoy is the way to go in golf shoes as far as I'm concerned...I don't have experience with that particular shoe but I have worn nothing but FootJoy for the last 10yrs and I will wear nothing else.

I have used the tennis shoe style shoes for the past several years. I was wearing Nike's until the past few seasons. I loved my Foot Joy Dimension X's the past two seasons, but apparently this one isn't made this year. I just bought some FJ Countours with tournament winnings last weekend, but haven't been able to play yet (rained out in the weekly twilight Tuesday).

A few years ago, I briefly tried a more traditional style shoe from FJ that seemed soft and comfy, but I walked 18 with them and they tore my heels up. I returned them for the X's.

Wearing a set of Nike SP-5's that I bought from Golfsmith on sale. Had to buy the shoe in Wide, since my last pair of Nike shoes were way too tight around the toes. The SP-5's are so comfortable in my opinion, that half the time I don't even realize that I'm wearing golf shoes. If they didn't have cleats on the bottom I'd want to wear them to work. That's how comfortable they are.

I've always had FJ, and 2 years ago I bought a pair of... are you ready for this... Etonics.

Believe it or not these have been the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They are worn out now though and it's time for a new pair.

I had the same problem with my greenjoys. I thought about tossing them in a water hazard every round. I went out and got two pairs of Nike sp-5 and love them best shoe i have ever had on.

I ended up trying out the FJ GelFusions and I must say that I love them. I have played 4 rounds now and they are unbelievable comfortable. I was looking at the Nikes but had a pair a few years ago and was less then impressed with them. I had them for 3 months and never really considered getting any more. Might have to look more the next time.

Hey I have a pair of footjoys that work really well. They were pretty cheap but work great. If you live where it rains alot or snows look for the footjoys that are water proof.
