Is anyone here a member of Golf Club Exchange?

Being a Canuck prevents me from being one. Sorta sucks as I've seen a few good deals pass buy.

If anyone is, let me know. Maybe we can work out some crazy US/Canada club triangle if need be......

Thanks guys,

R35

Ya, pretty much. Anything that i would get would have to be shipped to you and then forwarded onto me. Seems like the run around, but they have some good deals that go through there once in a while. Plus shipping on E-bay always runs insane amounts of money. People always try and milk a few bucks on shipping, i hate that. You get your club and the shipping label says 7 dollars even tho you paid 18. Garbage.

Do you have a Paypal account? I could forward you funds that way.

I'm not set on buying anything at this moment, but it would be nice to know that I could anytime over the winter.

(Dave's gonna be mad at me for talking about new irons again! :sobbash: )

Thanks Bravo.

Go ahead and get them. All I'm saying is don't get rid of the Callys in case the blade thing is just a midlife crisis sort of affair & I'm not saying your middle aged. That designation goes to me. :fart:

It's great you have all winter to decide as you'll probably end up getting a good deal. One thing I keep thinking about is how often our first choice/instinct ends up being right. I'll bet if you think about it you know which ones you really want.

You know Dave, i'm still so on the fence, i'm still not 100% certain.

I like the look of the V-25's (nicely shown to me by a certain someone), Mp-33's, pretty much any Gunmetal Cleveland's, or my new kid on the block, the Snake Eyes Forged.

Thing is, i wouldn't have much of a chance to really see their performance till spring, but it's always nice to keep my eyes open.

Mid-life crisis? I did go to Red Lobster last night with my friends, so this could very well me "mid life" from that. :D

I thought you were supposed to buy a big ticket vehicle or motorbike when you go through that. Like a Porsche Cayenne... :(

For me it was a boat. I got the bug and nothing was stopping me. A friend of mine had bought the same model that I had been drooling over so I'm sure a little keeping up with the Jones's played into it. Anyway, yes a big ticket item is in order when your time comes.

Just make sure it's something you really want cause it's an excuse you can only use once with the wife.

Like a 22 year old student girlfriend? I've always wanted one of those. I'd even take it in silver..... ;)

I can't see myself doing it. I'm not a fan of little two seater cars, never did have a hankering for a motorbike. I'm a realist when it comes to cars.

Mark my words. I won't break down and join the Joneses. I hate all their stuff anyways. :D

Rock:

Yup I have a PayPal account and will be happy to help you out. I've bought a few items through eBay and have the golf club boxes in the shed to prove it. (My beloved Sonartecs and my TM R540 driver).

I will PM you with my name, street address and paypal email address. We'll take it from there.

Which is best for US - Canada ground shipping? UPS, Fed-ex or DHL? I can use any one you like....

B,

Being that it's winter, regular ground shipping would work just fine. No real rush. It's tough to find balls in the backyard in January!

I've bought my fair share off e-bay as well with zero issues, other than an extended stay at Customs with my X-16's. But, GCE won't allow non-residents of the US to sign up and buy. Hence my need for a knight in shining armour, Yankee style!

I got your IM and sent response.

Thanks for volunteering to be my mule. We'll get this CAN/USA drug running business off the ground yet! :xxrotflma

This could be the beginning of a lucrative import business for you guys.
RockVo Inc. or Braford Imports. I can see it now, golfers all over SK shopping on the internet and then placing their order with Rock. Bravo ships and you both take a cut for your trouble. This could be big I tell ya, really big!

First, we need alot of capital. That's where you come in.

I just use charisma and good looks to reel in guys to great deals. I'll take 40% of all profits, plus stock options. I don't do paperwork, nor do I do early morning meetings.

All I am about is getting people great deals, even if your capital suffers because of it. That's my whole philosophy!

Seriously tho, would that be a sweet side endevour. I sold a wedge to a guy once that ran a business of buying used golf equipment and selling it for minor profits. He told me he was just short or 20,000 bucks over 2 years just on the side. Not bad scratch for half assing it.

Sure would buy alot of rounds and new golf sticks for me and the Shot Talk guys.... :)
