I vow not to buy any more clubs until my handicap comes down, I will allow myself 1 club per 0.1 (been given a cap of 5 for first year back after 3 years not being a member)

I also vow to abuse club ho's as much as I like here

And I also resolve to abuse anyone who lists what shoes they wear in their signature.

This one is a MUST. Count me on that :D

My resolution would be to promise not to bother SIlverUberXeno with sending me more golf stuff AFTER the first week of January hehehe

I'm not making any golf resolutions. I'd love to say I won't buy any clubs, but I know it would be a lie. I really want to try the new Ft-9 out in a 9.5º or a 10º. I love the way I'm hitting my 10,5º Ft-5 right now, but its going too high. And as bad as my putting has been, lord knows I need to buy a new putter. My irons are probably safe unless I run across a great deal on something a tad more forgiving. And my wedges are over due being replaced, the grooves are about gone on them after 3 seasons.

I do plan on playing smarter golf this year. I need to quit hitting driver on every hole it is even remotely available on and lay up more often. I turned 50 a couple of weeks ago and can play on the Senior Tour on the eGolf Amateur Tour, I would like to be in contention at least once or twice this year in my flight.

I resolve to spend at least as much money on instruction and Trackman time as I do on clubs.

I vow to have fun on the golf course this year no matter how slow the womens league in front of me is going, no matter how crappy the greens are, no matter how fat i hit that last shot, no matter how far i just sliced that drive into the woods...

No matter what happens, i'm going to have fun out there. Because thats what its all about for me. I don't make my living doing this, so why get all upset over dunking one in the drink?

ETA: I wear ADIDAS something or others...they just make me fee like i fit in better....they don't make me play any better...

WTF kind of resolution is this??? Lay up?? Is this the women's forum??? I am 50 this year and decided to spend the off-season getting into shape for the express reason of NEVER having to lay-up, unless there is some serious dinero on the line.

I resolve to get the nerve to tell my wife of 43 years, "I'm Tiger Woods and I'm gonna trade you in for a porn star... or a Perkins waitress!" Of course, she'd just laugh and tell me I couldn't handle either one!!!

Honestly, I'd like to have a year as enjoyable on the course as was 2009. I played a lot this past year. And... I had fun playing. Didn't get too worked up when a bad round, or two, reared their ugly heads. Maintained close to the same bag the entire season.
