monday i got terrible blisters (two on one foot), although i think it was from wearing the wrong socks, i was thinking about maybe buying a pair of the more athletic looking golf shoe, does anyone know of a good pair for a reasonable price, maybe 60 and under

thanks

also, it's not the look of the outside of the shoe, it's the build on the inside of the shoe

almost anything by FJ (as long as it fits you properly) will be gold

I wear Nike Gore Tex. Best shoes i've ever owned. I had a pair of FJ's, they were great too.

I had some Etonics a while back, paid a heap for them, wore them out in 2 years. I was pissed, vowed never to go back. But I would....they make good stuff too..

Look into Bite Golf. They are absolutely the most technologically advanced, comfortable shoes out there

I have bad heels which cause blisters.

I have bought FJ Contour Series shoes for the past several years and swear by them. They have additional padding around the top/ankle area. I have three pairs including one that has approximately 40 rounds on them and still going strong. I have only replaced the spikes on these so far and figure I'll get about 70 rounds out of the pair...and remember I walk a decent amount too. The amount of wear and tear put on shoes when you walk vs ride is about 5-10 times as much.

These retail for about $85 but you can get them at golfequipmentcloseouts.com for less. I paid $58 a pair at the end of last season for them...

Best bang for the buck I have ever seen.

i have the fj greenjoys, those are the ones that i was wearing when i got the blisters, they're good, but i think part of the problem was i was wearing the wrong socks, today, i was at golf galaxy taking a lesson, the guy was good, i have now commited to an overlap grip, and i'm working on keeping the wait on the inside of my right foot when i'm at the top of my swing, anyway, after, i was looking at shoes, (bravo, the countours are awesome, but the price scared me away, i also tried some adidas shoes but they just rubbed in the back as well, i then saw some nike sp-3's and they had a much higher heel than all the other shoes and i figured they would do much better and they are awesome, so i got a pair for my bday, 50 bucks, wearing them right now, even with the blister, very comfortable.

Good job younun...the higher heel is key to less blisters...
