So as I indicated in my review I bought a Cobra XX Speed. I made it to the range the other day and finally got to try it out. Man is this thing long. Besides being long it is also very forgiving. I tried hitting it from almost every spot on the face and still got great distance. One ball that I hit in the corner spot near the heel and the hosel still flew forever. My only complaint is that I probably should have gotten an X-Flex shaft instead of the Stiff flex. One of my swings hit 124 mph (clubhead speed) so some of my shots were hard to control with the more flexible shaft I got. The shaft that came with it is the Fujikura Vista Tour 65g and while I like the look I think I'm going to need something a little stiffer. I got the 8.5 degree model but may try and get a 7.5 and 6 degree respectively if I can catch up with my local Cobra rep.

Hey Cybo
Good post and great review. One question. Does this new weapon still have the two "Cobra" indentations on the crown of the clubhead? That's one thing I never liked about Cobra. It makes them stand out but I find it a bit ugly to look at. IMHO...

Yep they do. What is really odd though is the angle of the top of the crown. It is very sloped which helps them redistribute weight and launch the ball higher but is odd to look at. It may not be much to look at but the ball screams off the face as it is leaving the atmosphere of the planet.
