Grey Oaks CC, Naples Florida, Pine course

While Grey oaks is still light years away from the sort of facility that I am used to it still cannot compare to Olde Cypress.

I played here Sunday and finally got around to uploading the pics.....in no particular order.

Let me just say I was tempted to shoot myself. :)

I had real trouble hitting through that funky Florida fairway turf.

Oh I have played a bit of Florida golf in my time....

So much water and so much sand.

And watch out for the gators and snakes if you hit it out of the fairway.

Those are really first class courses.

The thing about these is you can have 4-6 good holes in a row and then get creamed by the hazards and lost balls.

Forced water carries.

Feast or famine.
