Yep amazing what changing your grip pressure can do. I would always get a blister on the inside right of my right hand ring finger. Took me a long time to realize that just shouldn't be and made adjustments to the grip pressure and position. Those changes helped to straighten out my shots just like you Boxerdogs.

Very very rarely now the club will jump in my hand at impact, but I think that because I'm slightly opening up my left hand at the top of my swing. Seems to happen 1 outta 100 swings.

yeah grip pressure can be a killer to your swing.by gripping to tight it tightens up your muscles and you actually lose distance and accuracy.

i really have to pay attention to my grip pressure when im trying to hit a big drive or a hard iron shot.i find myself looking down at my hands just before i step into the shot and sayin to myself relax the death grip idiot.

I have always been told to hold it like I were holding a bird...just enough bressure that he cant get away, but not too much to suffocate him.

Here's an easy way to feel correct grip pressure.

Set up like normal, now put a death grip on the club and count to 2, relax, as soon as you relax start your swing, you might be amazed at how easy you swing at the ball and how it takes off with an easy swing.
