Since you guys are computer nerds, can you tell me if this is a good deal on a 486DX2?

720mb hard drive.........LMAO. Storage technology raced in the last 3 decades. When I started at Digital in 1987, 600 MB was on dual 14" platters in a box the size of an end table. By 1995, 1.2g was on 5.25" single disc in a PC case.

I have to admit after taking a look around, I like what you have done with the place. ;)

I really don't fit into the sites that are concerned about click counts, and contests.

Not sure why you guys have not shown up on prior searches.

TEA can probably answer better but it basically comes down to the fact that the owner of the site gave up on it.

I am not complaining, and I certainly understand the grind, as I have stood up a website before (not a forum).

Welcome to Shot Talk!!! Sorta hurts to have another from Arizona. One was enough! Originating in Texas may allow us to forgive and forget.

As far as these guys saying they are IT folks.... IT to them is Intellectually Tainted. They's dangerous. Watch out!

We keep a low profile, 'cause we have some moderators with BIGLY ban hammers. I'll warn you now. Don't begin going off on Niblicks or showing photos of yourself with a splitting maul. For some unknown reason, those subjects seemed to get a couple of really, really nice individuals... well, maybe not so nice... banned.

Most of us keep our posts very short and to the point. I, especially, do my best to set a good example of that.

Again, come on in and sit a spell.

I have to admit I like the dry heat, I was raised around Houston, and did a 5 year stink in Connecticut ... I just do not miss the humidity in any way ...

I wish I would have bought the site...

I didn't think I would have time to manage it properly....

Guess that's not really a problem lol

I think TEA was collecting emails in case it came down to us needing to build our own site. It wouldn't be too bad, but we would lose a lot of data.
