Help with the dots?

Can anyone tell me what the dots mean on the clubs? I know this is a completely stupid question but I'm very new.

What dots? The only dots I can think of are the dots on Ping clubs. These are color dots for lie angle and such. It makes the club more customized for the player.

The colors indicate lie angle

Maroon: 5up
Silver: 4up
White: 3up
Green: 2up
Blue: 1up
Black: standard
Red: 1flat
Orange: 2flat
Brown: 3flat
Gold: 4flat
