Thank you, kind sir.

Yup, the deal has been sealed and everything ran without a hitch. Plus, I'm fresh back from a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean. Of all the beautiful things we did and saw, I think the highlight for me was having "Nature Boy", the horse-engine of our carriage ride, take a dump while we casually strolled down the streets of Nassau. I will never forget Nature Boy and his huge, freaking anus.

Damn, that first day back to work is a b----.

Yah, Mondays suck. Especially with that thought of horse brown eye to keep you company when your mind wanders.

Cruise sounds sweet. Any issues with it? The old lady and I are considering one next winter....

Cruises are by far the best way to vacation. This is our second and just as impressive as the first. There is so much to do, or so little to do...you make the schedule. But the fact that you have 1 week's lodging, unlimited activities and shows, and eat a five-star meal 3 times a day for 7 days for less than a grand per person makes it tough to beat.

Strongly recommended.

Gotcha.

Where else have you been besides the Carib? We were thinking of doing the Alaskan one. It's supposed to be oustanding.

We sailed out of Port Canaveral. It's only a 2 hour drive for us.

Rock, we've done a Western Caribbean cruise and an Eastern Caribbean cruise.

The Western took us to the Grand Caymans, Cozumel, and New Orleans. We preferred the Eastern Caribbean which was Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

We were somehow sold a Marriott timeshare in St. Thomas. I gotta figure out how to get out of this.

Alaskan cruises are supposed to be beautiful. Make sure it's during a warm season so you can enjoy the ship more. I can't imagine sunbathing in freezing weather is a good time. "Is that sunburn or severe windburn?"

Congrats on the wedding Buddha.

The Eastern cruise does sound nicer. Can't say I'd want to get on ship just to go to New Orleans. Good luck with the timeshare. We sat through the pitch in St. Thomas but managed to escape with only a free rental car. They are very good sales people.

Rock, I've always thought the Alaskan cruise looked nice too. I friend of mine went a couple of years back and loved it. The side trips look like the key to it. I've been trying to learn to flyfish and it would be great to fish some of the Alaskan rivers I bet.

I don't think they offer the cruises during the colder seasons as the seas get rough and the weather sucks donkey.

However, as Dave mentioned, friends of the family went on one that had a 3 day stop over where you had the option of a hotel or a B&B, which ultimately ended up being a huge fishing expedition for the men. The ladies had a shopping day, and the boys came home with fat salmon.

I've never fished in the ocean. Hell, i've only seen it twice in my life! A scary thought, but when you're so far from bloody everything, you start to understand.

Hey, no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no volcanoes, no floods. I got that going for me.

Thanks, everyone.

The master, your parent's know their stuff. Cruises are great.

And for all those single guys out there, go on a cruise during Spring Break. There were plenty, I mean PLENTY, of hot coeds on the ship with nowhere to go and lots of booze to go around.

Not that I had noticed. I only have eyes for my wife. ;)

Congrats Buddha.

And yes, the Alaskan cruises generally only go during the spring/summer. They docked right near where my office was before I went back to school. Usually something like April - September.

I did a Wester Carrib cruise when I was 15 (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica), and thought it would have been great if I wasn't 15. It's the age group that gets left out on those boats. Mostly because there aren't a lot of them, at least not on the boat I was on.

Maybe I'll take your wife and hook up with some hot, drunk co-eds. She's down with that, hey?

Hell, booze makes people do strange things. Just look at Bravo, he made love to his friends mailbox with his car just this past Saturday..... :p
