Sling, you turd.
Ahem. Warbirdlover, I watched Daniel Chopra on playing lessons last night. In addition to having a great swing, this guy is a super putter. He uses left (lead) hand low, and he said his key is to have the fingers of his right hand touching the inside of his left wrist and to maintain that contact. That firms up the left wrist.
I've tried left hand low a couple of times and didn't like how stiff it made me feel. I use a reverse overlapping with my left index finger pointing straight down. I also think about keeping my left wrist firm and hitting down slightly on the ball, like a chip.
Of course, my putting sucks.
p.s. If you have a Spider and still can't putt, then you suck too.
