The link doesn't work cos of the quote marks. I copied the text and removed them and it worked. Try this:

http://www.layerco.com/?i=products

And I agree, what could it possibly have over tape? Yet another gimmick. Maybe I'll buy some and put them on the face of my "hammer":p . POW! Oh, and I'm also glad that it comes in left handed. Phew.

And it claims to be legal? Not from my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Quotes....where the hell did they come from?

Anyways, the link is now fixed. Thanks, Oz.

Are tehy just designed for practice, because practice balls are hard? Seems a good idea, but yes, very expensive.

I finally looked at it...what a load of crap.

That's like putting vaseline on the clubface. And "Slingshots only come in clear so that it is discreet and doesn't distract you"...bullshit, it comes in clear so that none of your group call you for cheating.

How much of an advantage are you getting having these on the face during a round? Cheating? If I caught anyone using these, they'd be laughed all the way back to their Pontiac Aztek.

No shit. People need to be more humble and accept that golf is hard and that people don't expect perfection.

If you have to cheat to be good...and the fact that the USGA hasn't ruled on that particular device doesn't mean it's legal...then you shouldn't be worrying about being good.
