Some days I feel 35 and some days 60.

I always feel about 27 after a birdie though. :yellow:

32. Since starting golf a few years ago, I feel both 4 and 74. 4 because it feels like I never permanently learn anything. 74 because I am always hurting now. Shoulders, back, (today it's my achilles tendon). I should have never hung the first piece of sheetrock. I'm paying for those years now.

50

It was the first birthday I really noticed. Just sounds funny to me when I say it. I still feel younger, mid 30s or so.

If you asked my wife she would tell you I act even younger than that. I know she means childish, I just trying to spin it in a positive way.

28.

Mentally, I feel about 35 although I can act like I'm 17. 25 was actually rough on me. I'm starting to not like birthdays.

Physically, probably around 25...not as spry as my late teens, but I'm probably in the best overall shape of my life.

Stretch, people. Stretch!

I always forget my birthday. The only reason I brough it up here was because someone asked me what I wanted for my BD.

Whenever it comes around, i could really care less. I like to go celebrate, cuz everyone has a good time.

That really means more to me than getting gifts. It's all about bowling, beers and laughs.

I'm telling ya, bowling rules. I only play once a year, but it's good fun for everyone.

Geez, Louise.

If it'll make you feel better, I'll claim the oldest guy on the block: 55. But I'm also in the best shape of my life (at least in terms of walking endurance), after (a) playing 75 rounds a year for the past 2 years, always carrying my clubs; and (b) pretty much giving up the semi-professional bass-fishing I did for 20 years. That "game" (I've learned it doesn't qualify as a sport) not only kept me from playing golf time-wise but kept my back in terrible condition. Few golfers (perhaps) can claim to play more golf and have *fewer* back problems, but that's my experience. Riding in an 80-mph bass boat in tournament conditions (pedal to the metal in all kinds of water) doesn't help the vertebrae.

The only reason I'd go back to being 27 is to play more golf, but I didn't play as well then, so it'd be a tough trade to make. Lacked a teeny bit of wisdom and experience at 27. The mental part of golf is huge, even to the extent of semi-CONTROLLING the physical side. Thank heavens all you younger guys got smarter earlier than I did. :)

somewhere in the middle of the group

30 here and i'm finding that this age sucks. i'm young enough to remember what i used to be able to do but just old enough to have trouble doing those things! and of course, the phrase "the day after" is starting to mean something now. :(

37 and counting. I didn't figure age was ever a problem to me until last year. There I was celebrating my 36th over a nice meal with my wife. "Well", says I, "at least I'm still the right side of 30". About 10 minutes later my wife says, "No you're not, your'e 36". It spoiled the night.

Firstly becasue I genuinely missed 2 years of my life out (I'll admit tha I had a couple of bottles of wine at the time), and secondly because it obviously does play a tune in the back of my mind "you're gettin' older mister oldie".

Still my 4 year and 2 year old boys keep me yound at heart.

This struck me funny. No offense Gun, of course.

Anyone else snicker at this? And I'm the 27 year "old" guy here....lol

Just wait Gun. If you feel 70 now, you're gonna hate the next 50 years....lol.

Cheers,

Age is a state of mind......my state of mind is ageless, but according to the year I was born I am 61 year of age.

I find that in most cases it is a number many people put to much into it. Let it go, give it no truth and you will feel much better and live a more productive life.

By the year count ....61 I have more year than most on this forum, but in my heart and mind, I am ageless.
