Hybrid????/

I just bought a nicket 4/fw, it is supposed to be a cross between a hybrid and fairway wood, it is 17* and i got it to replace my 2 iron, the problem is i hit it the same distance as my 3 iron but with a higher ball flight. Has anyone had similar results and what did you do, i already carry a 13.5* three wood, and dont know what hybrid i am gonna need to replace my 2 iron

I would suggest getting one with stronger loft.

Yes I have but it was specific to Nickent. I had a 23* 3dxdc and it was shorter than my 5iron. Also tried a 20* but it was well short of my 3iron. Try a Sonartec MD 17* or a TP Rescue 17* (the 2007 model). Those are more player geared hybrids that won't produce that massive spin.
