This may not be a big thing to some but I am pumped. I shot a 98 at Quarry Ridge in Portland Ct (for the Ct guys if they are out there). I have been working my a@# off lately and it's starting to pay off. :smilie_cl

Nice work.

What part of your game has come around the most to make the difference?

Bastard! Why didn't you let me know? That's my home course. I teed off there today at 9:47...we needed a 4th.

I shot a 96.....only about 20 strokes less than last saturday.

It's a very unforgiving beastie isn't it?

I'll tell you what, Quarry ridge is lined with woods. Errant tee shots are usually lost....12th has OB markers TIGHT to the right side....no wiggle room. Hit one ob and your screwed, I do this all the time so I know. ;)

My putter.....shitcanning the 2ball and going with the classic anser putter was the best thing I ever did. I had 5 pars today, I took my lumps on a couple of lost ball holes and went 3 off the tee for a couple of 8,s and 2 7's but overall I was VERY pleased with my shabby play today. :D

Good job guys...are you posting your points for the Yanks??

We need all the help we can get.

Sling, people I talk to run hot and cold on the Twoball. Some people love the alignment system and others say it is too light...

What were your impressions??

Too light?

It weighs a ****ing ton and there are 6 yards of bullshit hanginging off the back of of it which end up dragging in the dirt and screwing up your putt.

Plant tulip bulbs with it and everything that looks like it. It ain't a golf club.

Same goes with screws on drivers....hit a persimmon. ;)

One other thing I don't like about it is that I was tricked. I bought into that crap like a hungry carp. Get a good old brass blade and sink 'em like you did when you were a kid at the mini golf.

You're mental. :prop: It weighs half as much as my White Hot #2. I was toying with the idea of adding weight because it has almost zero control due to how light it was.

As for the dragging the back end of the putter, i'd have to say that your "pendulum" is a bit off..... :D

That may be but the fact is that it's someone else's problem now.....I love the anser! :)

I swung the 2ball in a store one day and it felt very light to me. And this is telling because my putter is a very small traditional blade called a T-Line.

It is about the same size as a Wilson 8802 with a small alignment aid perpendicular to the blade.

My short game around the green. I have been practicing 4 to 5hrs a week on it.

Also as crazy as it may sound, there was the post with the slow motion swings on it. I have watched the Vijay video a thousand times. I saw the "slot" everyone talks about, and worked it out in slow motion in the garage and at work. My drives went 230-240 to 270-280. It also helped out my irons as well. My 150 to 100 yard shots are whats killing me. I get the yardage right but yank it left or block it right. That's why my short game is helping me.

We teed off at 7:00 my buddy and his father are members of the mens club. They had the member guest tourney. I think I am going to join next year. I only lost 2 balls, 1 on 10 drove it to the left in the other fairway then it must have gone in the woods. If it went straight I would have had 50 yards in if that. Lost one on the par 5 when you cross the street is that 12? I put that one left into the rocks in my second. I had a side hill lie in the fairway and hit the wrong club.I love Quarry the course is really nice and the views are beautiful.

I'm in the men's league there but I opted out of the tourney in favor of a later tee time.

NeverCompromise......

Keep Hacking.... It took me 12 years to get to a 10-12 handicap at around 2-3 rounds a month. I also had an old set of 3rd rate Northwestern K-mart specials to do this with. No expensive clubs for me..... Shot a 148 on my first time out...

Happy Hacking....
