I hate this nasty cold...

I get a cold about every second year but I got one a week ago Sunday.

I am thinking that this will be over in about five days.

Wrong.

I am now on day 9 with this thing and cannot shake it. I feel like sludge and have a dry cough.

Anybody got a grandma cold remedy out there that works??

Bourbon over ice and a comfortable couch is the best way to deal with a cold. It doesn't cure a thing but you don't care.

Well the only problem here is that I would be drunk for about two weeks.

You can't make a judgement like that unless you've tried it. I'll send over a case of my piss to you straight away. Drink it for 2 weeks and then make a comparative call.

I'll undrstand at that point if you go down the Drunk route, but I think you may be surprised. You'll feel wonderful, cured of all ailments and shooting sub-par rounds.

I already have the PGA Tour guys interested. Just wait until you hear about Duval's comeback, all down to drinking IG's "Water of Life".

Just got it 3 days ago, with sore thorat, cough that worsens the throat pain, mild fever, and some muscle soreness. I feel it's getting a little better, especially with good night sleep.

As tempting as that sounds....

Growing up, neither of my parents drank. No liquor, beer nothing. But, there was always a bottle of bourbon under the kithen sink. When one of us got sick my mom made a drink mixing the bourbon with orange juice and then sent us off to bed.

I'm going with mom on this one, minus the OJ, and skipping the pee. Maybe when Duval wins the Masters I'll reconsider.
