Seeing as Rock and Bravo have risked ridicule to entertain us with their embarassing moments, I too have something to declare of which I am not proud...

I have never seen Caddyshack.

I know it's the greatest golf movie of all time I've just never seen it. Is it available to buy on DVD?

Might be a good time to list your favourite golf movie while your'e here. FWIW I like Happy, although I haven't seen Tin Cup either (can't stand Kevin as an actor).

And what about favourite golf books (non-instructional). I recently read Bud Sweat & Tees about Rich Beem's first year out on the big tour - great book!

your thoughts...

OHHHHHH GAWWWWWWDDD!!!!

This is unbelievable...You have Never Seen Caddyshack??!?!?!?!?

ARRGGGGHHH.

Wait a minute - just a minute.

You have, before you - an incredible opportunity to see not only the greatest golf movie ever made - but one of the finest comedies ever filmed.

And YES it is available on DVD. I have it in my den and watch whenever I get blue. And like many DVD versions, it has a Special Features section where the actors are interviewed.

Run - don't walk and buy it. It is a treasure.

BTW - it is rated a 7.1 by Internet Movie Database which is a good score for a sports comedy.

This link will take you there and also includes information about how to acquire the DVD which has an Australian version.

Dude......wha......buh....huh?

Oh man. We gotta help this guy out. Please send this guy 30 dollars to buy Caddyshack. I'd send you my DVD, but i'm not sure it would work in Auzzieville.

(Where's Buddha? He's been under alot of desks lately, he probably has funds!)

Never seen Caddyshack.....that's insane.

Watch Tin Cup too. There's some great lines in it, even if Costner sucks large.

I'll put him in my will.

That's the only way he gets my copy of Caddyshack.

Once I am six feet under.

you guys make me laugh bigtime! :p

I will purchase said movie when I get the chance this weekend.

There was a golf movie made a few years ago which starred Randy Quaid - apparently that was very good but I can't remember the name... help?

BTW, almost every DVD player sold here is multi-region...

Randy Quaid?

Caddyshack II.

"I'm gonna break down your door with a F----en baseball bat, grab that golden retriever of yours and eat it!"

That movie sucked. It had one good part.

Wow Rock that's mighty nice of you but really I can't accept your offer - it's just 2 generous...

I will however exchange something of similar value if there's anything you can think of that you might like from Down Under (don't know that we have anything you might want though!)

No I was under the assumption that it was a drama - I remember reading it somewhere - doesn't matter, if I remember what it is I'll let you know

He was in a made for TV movie called Dead Solid Perfect.

Never saw it, but it's rated at 4.9 out of 10.

Tin Cup. It's worth renting. Good lines. Cheech Marin, can't lose.

Classic:

"So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock.

So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald ... striking.

So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one -- big hitter, the Lama -- long, into a 10,000-foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier.

Do you know what the Lama says?

'Gunga galunga ... gunga, gunga-galunga.'

So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey!, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.'

So I got that goin' for me. Which is nice."

Tin Cup:

Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy (Kevin Costner) in "Tin Cup"
"Sex and golf are the two things you can enjoy even if you're not good at them."
